Portal Launched To Monitor Government Schemes

GUWAHATI: In order to monitor and review the implementation of high-priority Government schemes, programmes and projects in Kamrup Metropolitan District, Biswajit Pegu, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metropolitan District on Monday launched the DM Dashboard portal at his office chamber. Sujan Deb Purkayastha, DIO (NIC), Barnali Patgir, ADIO (NIC) and other officials were present at the programme. Assam Darpan DM Dashboard portal has been developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) as a single platform to facilitate the way to monitor and review Government schemes, programmes, and projects. It will reflect the progress and achievements of the following eight schemes in district portal: Swachcha Bharat Mission(Grameen), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Grameen), National Social Assistance Programme, VAHAN, Land Records and Property Registration. DM Dashboard access is restricted to specific users of district administration now. It will be available to the people shortly. It will ensure the Government to be open, transparent and accountable to its citizen.
