Prestigious Shashiprabha Kalita memorial award to Tarulata Das

GUWAHATI, July 23: The Aadarsha Janani Shashiprabha Kalita Smritiraksha Samiti is going to confer the prestigious Shashiprabha Kalita memorial award – 2018 upon noted artiste Tarulata Das. In a release issued to the media on Monday, Samiti president Kailash Sharma and secretary Amar Kashyap highlighted that the award will be conferred upon Das on August 15, next at the Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir, Uzanbazar.

Notably, the Samiti is celebrating the 60th Shashiprabha Kalita memorial function. The auspicious occasion will be graced by xahitya accharya Pramod Chandra Bhattacharya and prominent litterateur Mrinalini Devi.
