Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to address three rallies in Assam today

GUWAHATI: The general secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC), Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address three political rallies of the party on Friday.

The rallies will be held at Maya Bazar in Goalpara (East) Constituency, Sher Nagar near Agomani in Golakganj, and at Kayakuchi (Fulurguri) in Sarukhetri LACs (Legislative Assembly Constituencies).

At Maya Bazar, the rally will be held in support of Abdul Kalam Rashid Alam; while the rally at Sher Nagar will be for Abdus Sobahan Ali Sarkar; and the Kayakuchi rally will be for Jakir Hussain Sikdar.

Meanwhile, former Union Minister Salman Khurshid will also participate in two rallies during the day. These rallies will be held at Sakla in Abhayapuri (North) LAC, and at Kaurpara in Barpeta LAC. At Sakla, the rally will be in support of Abdul Bhatim Khandakar; while the rally at Kaurpara will be in support of Abdur Rahim Ahmed.
