GUWAHATI: As a part of 16 days of activism, a project-level awareness camp was organized in the Sabitri Bharali High School, Kahilipara on "Gender-Based Violence Against Women and Girls 2022" today. Guwahati Urban ICDS Project organized the project. The Head Master of the School, Narahari Barman, while addressing the students and staff, explained the underlying meaning of violence against women and girls and called upon all to be vigilant to achieve the objective.

Bibha Mali, supervisor of the Project, and Elusmita Konwar, "Sakhi" of the Department, discussed various provisions of the law relating to the protection of the Rights of women and girls. All the supervisors of the project along with Anganwadi workers were present in the awareness programme.
