Punjab National Bank celebrates National Unity Day in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has decided that this year Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) be observed from October 26 2021 (Tuesday) to November 1, 2021 (Monday) with the theme 'Independent India @75 : Self Reliance with Integrity'.

In compliance with the above and also to celebrate the Rashtriya Ekta Divas (National Unity Day) on October 31 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Zonal Office Guwahati organized a walkathon to raise the awareness among employees and the general public about the relevance of maintaining high standards of integrity and having zero tolerance towards corruption.

The officials of Punjab National Bank participated in the run which started from the PNB Guwahati Zonal Office situated at Hem Baruah Road, Panbazar observing all COVID-19 protocols. A pledge-taking ceremony was also organized where all the participants took the 'Rashtriya Ekta Divas Pledge'.
