Rafale scam has exposed BJP: Harish Rawat

GUWAHATI: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Harish Rawat has said that the BJP has been badly exposed in the Rafale scam. Talking to the press at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati on Monday, Rawat, who is AICC’s in-charge for the APCC said: “The Rafale scam has reduced the BJP to a nervous wreck. To cap it all, the party has failed to fulfill the whole lot of commitments it made during the last Lok Sabha election. Such an awkward situation has led the party to rake up the issue of Ram Temple again with the help of the RSS and the VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad). The party recalls Ram only when it is trouble and in the run-up to every election.” Rawat has condemned the recent killing of five people at Dhola in Tinsukia district in the State. He has said this incident is tantamount to the fact that the State government has failed on the law-and-order front.
