Reshuffle in Assam administration

GUWAHATI: In a reshuffle in the state administration, Saranga Pani Sarma, Director, Inland Water Transport, Assam has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Power (E) Department.

Partha Pegu, Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Sports & YW Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Inland Water Transport, Assam. Rajib Thapa, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, Sports & Youth Welfare Department and Officer on Special Duty to the Minister, Sports & Youth Welfare, Tourism etc., Assam, has been posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, Power (E) Department as additional charge.
