Resident of Bamunimaidan Satish Tahbildar no more

GUWAHATI: Satish Tahbildar, a resident of Bamunimaidan here, passed away on Friday due to age-related ailments. He was 82. Tahbildar did his graduation from Cotton College (B.Sc) and obtained his B.E. (Civil) degree from Assam Engineering College. He had a successful career in the Assam Government's E&D Department, eventually retiring in 2001 as Additional Chief Engineer. He was very active in social service from an early age and was associated with various organizations. From 2001 to 2018, he served as the Guwahati Mahanagar Sanghachalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
