Retailer selling fake e-tickets arrested in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the local police on Friday, jointed conducted a raid at the Abhiskek Info System located at GS Road near Paltan Bazaar and arrested one Anuj Singh allegedly for selling Railway e-tickets illegally. During the raid, the team recovered six numbers of Railway e-tickets, electronic reservation slips. The team also seized a laptop, one CPU, two numbers of router, cash Rs. 605, one signboard, one letter pad and a mobile phone from Anuj Singh’s possession. Meanwhile, a case (No 1029/18 U/S 143) was registered.
