Retired deputy inspector of schools Dinesh Baishya passes away in GMCH

PALASBARI: Dinesh Baishya, who retired as deputy inspector of schools of Guwahati Sub-division hailing from Mirza under Palasbari LAC in South Kamrup, passed away at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) at 8:20 am on Saturday. He was 81. He was admitted to the GMCH on December 1.

Late Baishya started his career as a teacher and later retired as an education officer. He played a vital role in establishing several educational institutions. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, and a host of relatives. His death was widely mourned.
