Reunion of NVPAA To Be Held at City School From December 22

GUWAHATI: Pichutan 3— the two-day third Grand Reunion of Netaji Vidyapith Alumni Association (NVPAA) – is going to be held at Netaji Vidyapith Railway Higher Secondary School from December 22, 2018, at Maligaon in Guwahati.

Established in 1948, the school has already set a milestone with successful students who are contributing to nation building at various capacities with their services, a press release said.

The school’s ex-teachers, along with the alumnus from 1963 to 1968 batch, will be specially honoured by the association during the meet. Apart from that recently passed-out students of class X and XII who have secured 75% marks and above will also be felicitated in the event.

In connection with the grand alumni meet, the organising committee under the presidentship of Ashok Sen of Netaji Vidyapith Alumni Association (NVPAA) has developed a network to reconnect the ex-students of the school spread throughout the globe. More than 300 participants with their families from different corners of India and abroad have already confirmed their presence in this grand meet.

Amitabha Choudhury, general secretary, NVPAA, said, “‘Pichutan 3’ is the platform of the ex-students of Netaji Vidyapith Railway Higher Secondary School, which was formed in 2012. Apart from developing a network among the ex-students, the prime focus of the association is to stand with the school to extend all possible support for the students’ development, keeping the modern day education and exposure needs in mind.”
