Revenue collection up in Guwahati Revenue Circle

GUWAHATI: In calculation with the past few years, the Guwahati Revenue Circle has collected more revenue in the 2018-2019 financial year. There are three Mouzas in the circle: Jalukbari, Ulubari and Guwahati. Jalukbari Mouja has 22 cadastral villages and 4 non-cadastral villages under it. Ulubari Mouza has 18 cadastral villages under it, while Guwahati Mouza has 4 cadastral villages under it.

According to sources, the status of mutation cases under Guwahati Circle during 2018 financial year was 3648, where 2529 orders were passed, 162 rejected and 953 pending, while 752 cases were reported from January 1, 2019 to March 19, 2019, where 254 orders were passed, 1 rejected and 497 still pending.

The status of office partition cases under Guwahati Circle during 2018 financial year was 722, where 223 orders were passed, 13 rejected and 486 pending, while 173 cases were reported from January 1, 2019 to March 19, 2019, where 21 orders were passed, no rejection and 152 still pending. As per an inside source, the fees received under RTPS from office mutation and partition cases was Rs 19,14,200 from 2018 to February 2019, while Rs 36,00,000 was received from NOC for IMP as RTPS fees.

The status of NOC for IMP for Guwahati Revenue Circle up to December 2018: 1246 applications were registered for flat and land, where 745 were allowed, 112 rejected and 16 were objected. The status of NOC for IMP for Guwahati Revenue Circle from January 1 to March 19, 2019: 403 applications were registered for flat and land, where 38 were allowed, 1 rejected and 149 were objected at the Circle level.
