Road mishap kills one

GUWAHATI, June 29: In a road mishap occurred at Khetri on Friday morning, a truck bearing registration no AS-09C-1682 fell beneath a wooden bridge killing one identified as Tairul Haque on the spot. According to police source, another two staff of the truck identified as Monimul Haque and Biswajit Teron received serious injury. Locals nearby by the accident area said that the wooden bridge has been as old as seventy years and it was at the verge of collapse at any point of time. It remained in a dilapidated condition due to the negligence and apathy of the local administration.
