Robbery at the Residence of Retd. Colonel's House

GUWAHATI: A dacoity was committed at the residence of SSB retired Colonel, Kusung Solomon in the wee hours of Saturday morning at Ahomgaon, Milan Nagar. The looters entered with guns and daggers and tied Solomon’s hands. His wife, daughter and mother in law was also present. Cash of Rs 1.5 lakh, 2 gold chains, 2 rings, a TV, 4 ATMs and 6 mobile phones were forcedly taken, as the dacoits sped away in Solomon’s i10 vehicle (AS 01 AL 5898). It is worth mentioning that a similar incident took place at Ganesh Nagar just a few days back. Gorchuck police are investigating the matter further.
