Royal Enfield recovered at Jorabat by Assam Police, one arrested

GUWAHATI, July 23: The Jorabat Police intercepted two bike lifters at Jorabat area on Monday and recovered a stolen Royal Enfield bike bearing registration no AS 01DK 9720. According to police source, the luxurious bike was stolen from Guwahati city on Monday itself. The two bike lifters were heading towards Nagaland on the stolen Royal Enfield. Seeing the police on the spot, the duo tried to flee. Although, one of the lifter was nabbed, the other managed to flee from the scene. The nabbed person has been identified as Nagaku Somba. Meanwhile, the police registered a case in this regard and is on search for the other one.
