Sadou Asom Beton Bonchito Teachers’ body seeks regularization of jobs

GUWAHATI: Sadou Asom Beton Bonchito Karmaroto Prathamik Shikshak Sanstha (SABBKPSS) is asking the government to regularize their jobs and financially approve their posts. Addressing a press meet here, the teacher’s body’s president Robin Bora stated that the employed teachers have not received their salary since many years. “Since 1989 to 2001, the teachers were employed under the government. Now we want the government to regularize our jobs”, said Bora.
“The government should find an immediate solution. Himanta Biswa Sarma has once again been appointed as the State Education Minister. We are now hopeful that he will look into this matter and find a solution to our problems”, he asserted.
Speaking further, he added, “When we were appointed, a total of 12,093 posts were available and after cross examination by the education department, 11,720 posts were finalized. Now the government is going to financially approve all the posts and our problems will finally be solved.” On February 4, the body will hold a representative meeting in which various issues of all the affected people will be discussed.
