Sarbananda Sonowal's political journey is an ideal for people of NE: Bhabesh Kalita

GUWAHATI: State BJP unit president Bhabesh Kalita congratulated Sarbananda Sonowal on being the first person from the North-East to be included in the central Parliamentary Board of the party and thanked national president JP Nadda, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for the appointment.

A press release by State BJP quoted Kalita as saying that by including Sarbananda Sonowal in the Parliamentary Board, the BJP has once again proved their dedication and commitment towards North-East. Kalita said that right from his student days Sonowal was very much involved in social work and had worked towards the uplift of society. Sonowals's great success in his political career is an ideal for the entire North-East, the State BJP president said. Kalita also extended his best wishes all the other dignitaries who were included in the Parliamentary Board.
