GUWAHATI: The Satgaon Police has rescued a minor girl from Jilika Path in the Satgaon area on Friday.
According to the police, the 15-year-old girl was suspiciously loitering in front of the house of Dr Zoheb Hazarika. After interrogation, it was learnt that the minor fled away from her house and came to Guwahati by train. Later, the Kamrup Police informed the Satgaon Police that her parents had already lodged a missing FIR at the Kamrup Police Station. After medical examination, the girl was taken to a shelter house. She will be handed over to the Kamrup Police on Saturday.
