Sathgaon Police Apprehended Drug peddlers in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Sathgaon police, during an investigation on Saturday, unearthed five drug peddlers identified as Noor Islam Mandal alias Babu, Sikhdar Gulam Usmani, Nazidul Islam, Sukur Ali and Alladin Ali. 14 grams of suspected heroin, 200 empty small containers, syringes and un-prescribed tablets in large quantities were recovered from their possession. Meanwhile, Bharalamukh police on the same day apprehended drug peddler Raja Das from Kamakhya Gate. 1.175 grams of suspected drugs and cash of Rs 3000 were recovered from his possession.
