Season tickets to be issued for Assam book fair

GUWAHATI: Season tickets will be issued for the Assam Book Fair from Monday. The Assam Book Fair will be held at the Assam Engineering Institute (AEI) Playground in Chandmari in the city from December 29 to January 9. The 12-day event is being organized by the Publication Board, Assam in collaboration with the All Assam Book Publishers' and Booksellers' Association. The theme of the book fair is based on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Over 110 book publishers and booksellers will be participating in the event.

The season ticket for the book fair will cost Rs 100 and two persons can gain entry with one season ticket. The season tickets will be issued from Monday at the following places – MR Publication, Saraswati Plaza; Kuber Book Stall, College Hostel Road, Panbazar; Jyoti Prakashan, Panbazar; and the Uzanbazar and Christian Basti outlets of JB's.
