GUWAHATI: To help clear extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to extend the services of special train running between Guwahati and Okha. Services of this train have been extended to run for two trips each with existing timings, stoppages, composition and days of run for convenience of the passengers.

Services of Train No. 09501 Okha – Guwahati special train have been extended to run for another two trips. First trip of this train left Okha on 14th May and consequently another trip will run on 21st May, 2021 (Friday). In return direction, services of Train No.09502 Guwahati – Okha special train have been extended to run for two trips leaving from Guwahati on 17th and 24th May, 2021 (Monday).

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway's website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway.

Railway is following Covid related guidelines issued by respective state governments in various stations. Necessary help is being provided to the Health department of respective states for testing arrangement of train passengers. Passengers should travel with minimum luggage and wear face covers/masks at the stations and trains during travel. Passengers shall observe social distancing both at the station and on trains. All passengers are also advised to download and use the AarogyaSetu application before undertaking the journey.Railway has also decided to impose fine on passenger if found violating any Covid related safety guidelines.

On arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state. All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regards.
