Sharjeel Imam to be produced before CJM Court today

GUWAHATI: Sharjeel Imam is on the way to Guwahati where he will be produced before the CJM Court on Thursday. He was in Tihar Jail. A case {1/2020 u/121(A)/124(A)/153(A)/153(B) of IPC, 13(i)/15(a)(iii)/18 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act} was registered at Crime Branch Police Station here against his appeal to anti-CAA protestors to ‘cut-off Assam from India’. The Assam Police got a production warrant against Sharjeel from the Patiala House Court.
