Shopkeeper abducted by unidentified miscreants in Mirza, Guwahati
A shopkeeper was abducted by unidentified miscreants from the Mirza area here on Saturday evening.

GUWAHATI: A shopkeeper was abducted by unidentified miscreants from the Mirza area here on Saturday evening. The victim, Munindra Talukdar alias Moni, was abducted from his car while he was on his way home. The miscreants also fired blank shots, said a police source.
The police have recovered a .22 pistol, six rounds of ammunition, and a cartridge from the location.
In this regard, the victim's kin have lodged an FIR — (122/2021) U/S 365/368 — at Palasbari Police Station.
The source added that the police are suspecting an angle of business dispute as the miscreants left the cash that was in Talukdar's car.
