SI exam paper leakage: National Students Union of India slams Dispur

Assam State committee of the NSUI (National Students' Union of India) condemned the incident of leakage of question paper in the examination conducted for the appointment of SI (sub-inspectors) in the Police department.

GUWAHATI: Assam State committee of the NSUI (National Students' Union of India) condemned the incident of leakage of question paper in the examination conducted for the appointment of SI (sub-inspectors) in the Police department.

In a statement issued to the media on Sunday, the students' body said, "The failure on the part of the State Government in conducting examination reflects the inefficiency of the administration as well as the government. Repeated incidents of paper leakage cannot be considered as inadvertent. It is an apparent act of recklessness and inefficiency. Once again an examination has been cancelled in the name of paper leakage," Assam NSUI in-charge and NSUI national general secretary Anushesh Sharma said, and added, "We members of the NSUI urge the Government to make proper enquiry and take appropriate action as per law as well as further steps should be taken to hold the said examination as early as possible."
