SI Recruitment Scam: Enforcement Directorate to Quiz Prime Accused & 4 Others
Carrying forward the investigation into the multi-crore SI (Sub Inspector)-recruitment scam

GUWAHATI: Carrying forward the investigation into the multi-crore SI (Sub Inspector)-recruitment scam, the ED (Enforcement Directorate) will quiz the prime accused and former DIG (Deputy Inspector General of Police) Prasanta Kumar Dutta and four others in jail.
Meanwhile, the ED has already received the permission from the Court of Special Judge. Of the accused persons to be questioned, besides PK Dutta, the other two in Guwahati Central Jail are Kumar Sanjit Krishna and Rupam Das; while the other two, viz., Sarat Sarma and Rubul Hazarika are in Goalpara District Jail.
