SI training to start from April 1 at NEPA in Meghalaya

GUWAHATI: The one-year-long training of the 600 newly appointed Sub Inspectors (SIs) will start from April 1 at the North East Police Academy (NEPA) at Borapani, Meghalaya. It is for the first time that training of the SIs will be held at the NEPA. In this regard, NEFA Director Deepak Kumar said, "This international-standard training centre is equipped with modern equipments which are necessary to train the Sub Inspectors." Kumar also added that the Meghalaya government has made it mandatory for all the trainees to undergo COVID-19 tests before visiting the NEFA.
