Noted writer Sikha Sarma who was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly making controversial comments against martyrs was produced before the CJM court on Wednesday.

GUWAHATI: Noted writer Sikha Sarma who was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly making controversial comments against martyrs was produced before the CJM court on Wednesday. She has been granted judicial custody.
It is to be mentioned that the police requested the Court to grant police remand to Sarma. However, the Court refused and stated that she can be interrogated during the judicial custody.
