Singer Nahid Afrin appointed as ‘Youth Advocate’ by UNICEF Assam

GUWAHATI: Indian playback singer Nahid Afrin from Assam appointed as the first ever ‘Youth Advocate’ at a public event held on November 22.

Nahid Afrin made her playback debut in the 2016 Bollywood film 'Akira' and won several awards. She also won an award in the Assam State Film Awards 2018.

Nahid as a 'Young Advocate' would act as a role model to motivate and inspire youth and children to ensure their rights are respected and to fight against violence. She also requested to her fans to support children rights.

Nahid Afrin was the first runner up of Indian Idol Junior 2015
