Snatching bid foiled in Rukminigaon, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Two miscreants tried to snatch a bag containing Rs 60,000 from a woman named Purnima Gogoi from the Rukminigaon area on Wednesday. Hearing hue and cry of the woman, the people in the area intervened following which the miscreants left their bike and fled the spot. The Dispur Police has seized the bike and the further investigation is on.
