Social Welfare Union Accolades Power Women

GUWAHATI: Anuprerona, a social organization headed by journalist Dhirendra Nath Chakravarty, celebrated International Woman’s Day on Saturday here in the city. As a mark of respect to womanhood, the organization felicitated 26 women from varied fields for their commendable contribution towards society. The Best Social Worker Award 2019 was conferred to social activist, Sajida Begum.
