Specially Abled Children’s Trip To Dhaka, Bangladesh From February

GUWAHATI: A team of five specially-abled children along with five faculty members of Asha School, Narangi under an officer of 1 Advance Base Workshop visited Dhaka, Bangladesh from February 11 to 14, 2019. The visit was part of the Inter Governmental Agreement between the two countries and was coordinated by 1 Advance Base Workshop. As per a press release, the visit covered important places of interest in Dhaka like Proyash Institute of Special Education and Research, Liberation War Memorial and National Museum of Bangladesh. The children of Asha School completed their maiden overseas journey and displayed exemplary behaviour during the various engagements. Such visits are extremely beneficial in boosting the morale of children and helping them to join the mainstream.
