Sports persons rally against dumping-ground move in Chandrapur

GUWAHATI: The local sports persons, on Wednesday, rallied against the dumping-ground move in Chandrapur. They participated in the ongoing protest demonstrations under the banner of the 'Dumping Ground Birodhi Mancha, Chandrapur'. Among the sports persons of national and international levels who participated in the rally were international Karate player Gopal Mandal, National-level handball referee Tulika Talukdar, prominent sports organizers Prafulla Talukdar, Dhiren Chandra Basumatary.
