SSUHS Assam holds awareness programme on World Disability Day

GUWAHATI: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Assam organized a virtual awareness programme on the occasion of World Disability Day on December 3. Vice chancellor of SSUHS Professor Dipika Deka was the patron while Principal of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Professor Achyut Chandra Baishya was the chief guest at the event.

Other panellists were retired Head of the Department of Orthopaedics, Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Barua; retired Head of the Department of Orthopaedics, GMCH, Dr Anil Mahanta; Head of the Department of Orthopaedics, North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, Dr Bhaskar Borgohain; Assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital, Dr Sukalyan Dey, stated a release.
