

GUWAHATI: The SBI (State Bank of India) celebrated the Golden Jubilee of its training centre State Bank Institute of Learning & Development (SBILD) on at its premises at Rukmininagar here on November 24.
The momentous occasion was graced by RS Ramesh,Chief General Manager,SBI NE Circle; Suranjana Dutta,GM-(NW-I); Lunkim Thangboi, GM-(NW-II), LM Mishra, DGM & CDO along with retired AGMs and faculty members with other SBI Officials and 28 probationers of 2020 batch.
Ramesh unveiled the commemorative plaque on Golden Jubilee of SBILD,Guwahati which was initially established at Panbazar here in 1971. The SBILD then shifted to Ulubari and finally to its present and permanent premises at Rukmininagar, stated a press release.
In his address to the gathering, Circle CGM R.S. Ramesh elaborated the importance and need of the training system for grooming and upskilling of the employee.
He also commended the SBILD Guwahati for playing a pioneer role in training the SBI employees in this part of the country and wished SBILD to attain more laurels in the coming days.
The colourful and entertaining cultural show was presented by the Probationary Officers of 2020 batch during the occasion. The joyous event wounded up with the vote of thanks from Smt.Shobhini Borgohain, Director of SBILD,Guwahati.
