State Government promoted 3 Assam Civil Service officers

GUWAHATI: The State Government on Monday promoted three senior ACS (Assam Civil Service) officers of the 1992 batch to the rank of Commissioner and Secretary.

According to a Notification issued by the Personnel Department, Kamal Kumar Baishya, who was serving as Secretary in the Excise Department and the Assam Human Rights Commission, has been promoted to the rank of Commissioner and Secretary.

Faruk Alam, serving as Secretary in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, has been also promoted to the rank of Commissioner and Secretary.

Dhrubajyoti Das, serving as Secretary in the Medical Education and research Department, has been also promoted to the rank of Commissioner and Secretary.
