State Government To Publish Political History of Assam

GUWAHATI: The State government has notified a project for Compilation & Publication of ‘Political History of Assam, 1947-2012’ in three volumes with Dr. Rajen Saikia, an eminent historian and a former President of the Indian History Congress, Modern India Section as Editor for the project. The first volume of the project shall be completed within 15 months from the date of assuming the charge by the Editor.
