Stir for rollback from New Pension Scheme to Old Pension Scheme

GUWAHATI: Teachers, officers and other employees of the State government are going to stage a programme – Jibonor Suraxa- Surakhito Bardhakya – in the State on October 21, 2020 under the banner of the All Assam Government NPS Employees' Association demanding rollback to the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) from the New Pension Scheme (NPS). Teachers, officers and employees and members of other employees' associations will demonstrate with placards in their respective institutions and offices on that day. They are going to send memorandum to the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister to this regard, a press release said.
