GUWAHATI: The Brihattar Guwahati Sarbajanin Rash Mohotsav in association with social organization Samridhi was organized in Ulubari Higher Secondary playground on December 22 to 24.
The first day of the Rash was inaugurated by Education Minister and President of the Brihattar Guwahati Sarbajanin Rash Mohotsav Celebration Committee, Siddhartha Bhattacharjee. Forest Minister, Porimul Suklabadhya was invited as the Chief Guest which included Special Guest RSS Kshetra Bodhik Pramukh Northeast, Sankar Das.
The cultural program was inaugurated by veteran actress Madhurima Choudhury. The last day saw an open session followed by prize distribution where former Chief Minister, Prafulla Kumar Mahanta and MLA Utpal Dutta were present as Guests.
The Rash Mohotsav included various religious discussions, cultural programmes, traditional events, etc. A team of Prajapati Brahma Kumari from the city showcased their art in the form of live human statues. The Mahotsav which was held for the third consecutive year proved to be a success as a huge crowd turned up on all the days to witness the programmes.
