Sudden Rise in Temperature hits Guwahati Residents

GUWAHATI, July 19: A sudden rise of temperature has occurred across the states of Assam and Meghalaya due to low density rainfall. The mercury level soared to 38 degree Celsius in Guwahati on Thursday. Still more alarming for the city residents, an official of the Regional Meteorological Centre located at Borjhar informed that currently there is no chance of rainfall. However, rainfall may be expected from July 21 onwards.
