Three books released at Cotton University Alumni House, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Three books of as many genres by as many authors were released at Cotton University Alumni House on Sunday amidst the presence of eminent litterateurs of the State. Among the books released are – Nirbasita Galpa-Sankalon (collection of selected stories) by Minakshi Buragohain, a collection of article entitled Disposable Samoy by Dr. Mausumi Borkataki and a collection of poetry entitled Maunotar Bhaskarjya by Tridip Kalita.

The books were formally inaugurated by noted writer Manikuntala Bhattacharya, Dilip Chandan, Anuradha Sarma Pujari and poet Kaustabhmoni Saikia. A total of 75 stories of different subject matters have been included in the collection of stories by Minakshi Buragohain. The other dignitaries present on the occasion include Hemchandra Doley, Dhruba Mahanta, Dr. Nibul Kumar Gogoi, Jagdish Dutta and many others.
