Three-day National Traders’ conclave held in New Delhi

GUWAHATI, July 25: The three-day National Traders’ Conclave, ‘Rashtriya Vyapaari Mahadhibeshan’ organization by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) at New Delhi from July 23 to 25 concluded on Wednesday with a mix bag of demands that included protest against the merger of Flipkart and Walmart, simplification of GST, abolishment of individual income tax, pension for businessmen and the so on.

In presence of several Union Ministers, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the conclave on Monday. A 50 member team led by Assam Chamber of Commerce (ACC), State Chairman as well as CAIT National Vice-President Rupam Goswami also participated in the conclave, a release said.
