Three-Day Shree Shyam Jayanti Mahotsav From Today

GUWAHATI: Shree Shyam Satsang Mandal is organizing a three day Golden Jubilee programme, Shree Shyam Jayanti Mahotsav, 2019 from March 16 to 18.

At a press communiqué on Friday, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal a member of the mandal, informed that the Utsav will be held at Sri Mahavir Stal and Sri Sadhana Mandir, Railway Gate 4, MS Road, here in the city from Saturday. The opening ceremony will be at 10.30 am, followed by a live ballet by renowned lector Shiv Kumar Jalan from Kolkatta.

The beginning of the puja with Vedic chanting will commence from 8 am on Sunday, followed by a daylong aarti, bhajan and nritya naatikaa by artist Devendra Bengani and party.

On the last day, the lighting of eternal fire (mahaarti) will start from 5 am, while from 5 pm onwards, the grand procession of Lord Krishna, comprising of jhankis with attractive glimpse of various incarnations of the lord will be portrayed. The procession will begin from MS Road towards various important roads of Guwahati.
