"Thrust On Publicity" Says APCC President Ripun Bora

GUWAHATI: With the Lok Sabha poll round the corner, the Congress has started its preparations with thrust on publicity. Now the party is busy in putting up some 300 hoardings all over the State. Talking to the media on Sunday, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora said: “Our thrust is on publicity. There’ll be hoardings all over the State. Our next thrust is on bicycle campaign.” Sources in the party say that some people have been engaged for the party’s bicycle campaign. The campaigners are going to carry some small campaign materials and publicity materials. The party, according to sources, is also going to make some short video clips on BJP’s commitments before the last elections and their actual implementation status. The video clips will also be used by the party for the publicity of its own vision. Meanwhile, AICC president Rahul Gandhi is going to address a rally at Khanapara in Guwahati on February 26.
