Training for polling personnel to be Organized from March 18

GUWAHATI: In view of smooth conduct of Parliamentary Election, 2019 and for proper training to the polling personnel, the Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, Guwahati, has date and venue of training. The training will commence on March 18 and 19 and April 2, 8 and 9 at Cotton Collegiate Government HS School, Panbazar and Panbazar Girls’ HS School.

There are total 1495 Presiding Officers and 4485 First, Second and Third Polling Officers. There will be 525 polling stations with 321 are in urban areas, 204 in rural areas, 25 zonal offices and 110 sector areas, while 38 polling stations are in critical areas.
