Tree Plantation Drive By LSIWM Guwahati Team In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A noble initiative of tree plantation was undertaken by a group of amateur musicians who met on Facebook named LSIWM (Let’s say it with music), with a member strength of more than 8000 from around the globe.

As per a press release, the tree plantation campaign took place on Monday. The LSIWM Guwahati team, which planted saplings in the vicinity of Bengali High School, Paltan Bazar, and High Madrassa School, Paltan Bazar in the presence of students and teachers. After plantation of several saplings, a group song was sung by the team and sweets were distributed among school children.

LSIWM Silchar Team has already kick-started the campaign in their city yesterday and very soon, Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore will see similar campaign by its respective LSIWM wing.
