GUWAHATI: A team of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) from the Garchuk Police Station on Saturday arrested one Mahammad Ali of the West Garo Hills, Meghalaya for stealing a Tata 1109 truck (AS25EC3341).

According to police sources, the truck was recovered from near Goalpara. A case (179/22 u/s 381 IPC) has been registered in this connection.
