Two arrested on cattle smuggling in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: Dhubri police, with the help of Hatigaon police, arrested a smuggler involved in cattle smuggling from the Hatigaon area here on Sunday. He has been identified as Adam Ali. Adam Ali has a case (1069/20 u/s 120(B)/353/379 of IPC) in Dhubri Police Station. He was absconding. The police also arrested one Abdul Jahid for helping Adam to get rented house. According to police, Abdul was also arrested in cases relating to cattle smuggling earlier.
