Two dramas to be staged at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra

GUWAHATI: The Organization of Senior Citizens, Panjabari has been taking initiatives for the health and happiness of senior citizens. The organization will now stage two plays to promote drama among the youth.

The two plays will be staged on November 19, November 20 and November 21 at the Sri Sri Madhavadeva International Auditorium at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. One play titled Ravan Badh will depict the miserable life of farmers while Ghoon is based on the exploitation of the Assamese community. Both plays have been directed and produced by noted dramatist Ranajit Sutradhar.
