Two nabbed; heroin seized in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Security guards of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) caught two persons, Bilal Ali and Nasiruddin Ahmed of Mangaldoi, for and recovered .30 gm of heroin along with three syringes from their possession.

According to police sources, the guards apprehended them due to their suspicious behaviour.

Both Ali and Ahmed were subsequently arrested by the Bhangagarh police under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
