Two Persons arrested under Chhaygaon police station

GUWAHATI: Two persons – Rahimuddin (26) of village Choudhury Pam under Chhaygaon police station and Mahidul Islam (24) of village Natun Kathami under Boko police station – were arrested on Friday night when they made an attempt to snatch away Rs 1,50,000 from one Afjalaur Rahman at Alekjari area. A case (79/2020 U/S 392 IPC) was registered at Chhaygaon PS in this connection.
